Are we all in the wrong job? Reflections on Construction Dispute Resolution

A paper based on the talk given to a joint meeting of the Society of Construction Law and the Society of Construction Arbitrators in London on 3rd July 2001.

The author reflects that construction law attracts professionals from all parts of the construction industry, as well as different sorts of lawyers, academics and judges, and that many participants begin their association in one role, but then become attracted to another. He goes on to suggest that most participants are in the wrong job and considers how each profession might help the industry resolve its problems.
