The Society of Construction Law Romania was established in 2014 to promote for the public benefit education, study and research (and the publication of the useful results of such research) in the field of construction law and related subjects, both in Romania and internationally.
In this regard, the Society of Construction Law Romania:
- Organises courses, conferences, seminars and round tables on Romanian and international construction law;
- Publishes papers, studies and expert commentary on construction law through the Romanian Construction Law Review, the Society's journal;
- Promotes awareness of the SCL Delay and Disruption Protocol and its application in Romania;
- Supports the development of best practices in dispute avoidance and dispute resolution on construction projects, including amicable settlement, adjudication, dispute boards, mediation and arbitration, and promotes their effective use in Romania;
- Connects Romanian practitioners with the international SCL community.
